Originally, GCE released 27 games for the Vectrex (not including Mine Storm). All games were released in North America under the GCE brand.

In Europe, only 19 games were released. These were under the Milton Bradley brand (MB) and did not include the Light Pen, 3D Imager or their games or Polar Rescue, Pole Position or Star Castle. Four games were released as a different title. Heads Up! was released as Soccer/Football, Spinball was released as Flipper Pinball, Star Trek was released as Star Ship and Web Wars was released as Web Warp. While GCE games had manuals and box text printed in English only, MB games had manuals and box text printed in English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish. Manuals were printed in a much larger format and overlay sleeves included a large graphic.

In Japan, only 11 games were released. These were under the Bandai brand and were limited to Armor Attack, Berzerk, Clean Sweep, Cosmic Chasm, Hyperchase, Rip Off, Scramble, Solar Quest, Space Wars, Starhawk, Star Trek. Rather than printing new boxes with Japanese text, Bandai made stickers which were attached to the GCE version of the boxes. However, Scramble was released as Scramble Wars and Star Trek was released as Harmagedon. These had their own boxes printed as well as their own overlays. All Bandai games had their own Japanese language manuals and included a full color poster featuring all games available in Japan.

Also relavant to mention are Mine Storm II and Mr Boston Clean Sweep. These were available when the Vectrex was originally sold.

Mine Storm was available only to those who complained to GCE regarding the built-in version of Mine Storm which would crash at level 13. As there was no internet at the time and the offer may have not been widely known, the cartridge is very rare.

Mr Boston Clean Sweep was a promotional item of extremely limited production. As the cartridge is rare, only a couple complete boxed versions with overlay exist.
